These programs are designed to help adults, children and teens learn the necessary skills to regain confidence, heal and successfully function at home, work, school and intheir communities.For more information about Valle Vista Health System, please visit our website at Qualifications: POSITION SUMMARY Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Receptionist is responsible for greeting and assisting all visitors, answering the switchboard, and checking in patients. In addition, the receptionist may assist with various clerical duties and projects as assigned by leadership team. QUALIFICATIONS Education : High school graduate or equivalent. Experience: Two (2) years experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a heath care environment, computer skills and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment, preferred. Preferred Requirements: May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours. STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE THE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS ARE CATEGORIZED UNDER THE JOINT COMMISSION STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE. PERFORMANCE EVALUATION RATINGS: 1=Unacceptable - Level of performance does not meet minimum standards. Performance is unsatisfactory 2=Needs Improvement -Employee needs more than normal guidance and direction. Performance is sometimes below standards. Employee cannot always be relied upon to complete assignments correctly and on time. 3=Meets Full Requirements -Employee performs work expected of someone in the position. Requires normal direction on routine assignments and more on non-routine tasks. 4=Very Good -Employees performance is consistently superior to that of others in similar positions. Often contributes beyond responsibilities and expectations. Requires less than normal direction. 5=Outstanding -This level of performance is rarely achieved by an individual in this position. The employee consistently makes a contribution well beyond normal responsibilities and expectations. Little or no direction is required. N/A = Does not apply.
