Solutions is hiring a Mechatronics Technician for our client. This
role designs, develops, and tests machinery and tools;
troubleshoots and repairs equipment; fabricates or modifies special
tools and fixtures; conducts cost assessments and validations; and
supports plant-wide continuous improvement initiatives. What’s a
Typical Day Like? Plan and implement projects to improve production
methods and equipment performance. Design, develop, and test
machinery and tools. Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues.
Modify or create special tools and fixtures as needed. Conduct cost
assessments and validations for projects. Support continuous
improvement initiatives in the plant. Provide technical assistance
for production equipment. Inspect and assess parts for dimensional
accuracy. Adjust, test, and operate equipment for optimal
performance. Use metalworking tools (lathe, drill press, mill,
grinder) for part fabrication and repair. Initiate purchase orders
for necessary parts and machines. What Are the Requirements of the
Job? Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred OR 10 years
of relevant experience. Strong ability to read blueprints and
technical documents. Experience with PLC and CNC programming and
troubleshooting. Knowledge of electrical/electronic circuits,
hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding (stick, MIG, TIG).
Understanding of machine control circuits and schematics.
Familiarity with plumbing, pumps, and various piping materials.
Ability to work in a team and contribute to process improvements.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment. Ability to move or lift
up to 50 lbs. Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend,
twist, squat, climb, kneel. Ability to utilize hand/eye
coordination. Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
