Job Description Job Description Position Overview The Shop
Technician at Bow Robotics plays a vital role in keeping our
operations running smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This hands-on
position supports shipping and receiving, inventory control, robot
preparation, testing, and maintenance across the shop. The ideal
candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable
working across multiple operational areas in a fast-paced robotics

robotic systems Key Responsibilities: Shipping & Receiving Receive
inbound shipments and verify quantities and condition against
packing slips and job requirements Check in parts using Service
Fusion with accurate and complete data entry Tag, label, and
document parts with SO/job number, part number, status, and
location Stage materials appropriately and prepare outbound
shipments, including packing, labeling, and documentation Inventory
Management Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits;
investigate and resolve discrepancies Stock items in assigned
locations and maintain accurate quantity and location data in
Service Fusion Organize and clearly separate tested, untested, and
defective materials to maintain inventory integrity Robot Test Line
& Shop Organization (5S) Maintain cleanliness, organization, and
readiness of the robot test line Ensure proper cable management,
tool control, and workspace organization Identify unsafe
conditions, damaged components, or missing items and address or
escalate promptly Robot & Motor Preparation / Painting Perform
surface preparation and painting of robots, motors, and components
to shop standards Maintain cleanliness, organization, and supply
levels in paint and prep areas Electronics Repair Support Assist
with teach pendant repairs and other electronic repair tasks as
needed Document troubleshooting steps, repairs, and outcomes in job
records Robot & Controller Teardowns (Rigging & Handling) Safely
dismantle robots and controllers, including large robot arms and
assemblies Operate cranes and forklifts safely to move, position,
and stage equipment (training/certification required) Testing &
Diagnostics Create and run test programs to validate robot
mechanical components and controller parts Set up test
configurations, perform functional checks, and clearly document
pass/fail results Seasonal Preventative Maintenance Support Assist
with high-volume preventative maintenance (PM) seasons, including
on-site support when required Ensure accurate PM documentation and
maintain consumables such as oil, filters, fans, and batteries
Qualifications & Skills Strong attention to detail and
organizational skills Experience with inventory management systems
(Service Fusion preferred) Basic mechanical and electronics
troubleshooting skills Familiarity with 5S principles and
maintaining organized workspaces Ability to multitask, prioritize
work, and adapt in a fast-paced environment Ability to safely
operate forklifts, cranes, and other shop equipment (or willingness
to be trained) Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move
components up to 50 pounds safely Standing, walking, bending, and
manual handling throughout the shift Work Environment Manufacturing
and shop environment involving robotics, electronics, and
industrial materials Exposure to paint, oils, and other chemicals
PPE required as mandated
