Operations (S&O) team works closely with NetApp's top
executives and our three business units (On-prem storage, Public
Cloud Storage, and Cloud Operations) to ensure that the company
stays on its profitable growth trajectory. The team is playing an
active role in some of NetApp's boldest and most strategic
decisions in defining and driving greater operational rigor across
the business to accelerate our pace of execution. Today, NetApp is
leading the way in how our customers get the most out of their data
with industry-leading cloud data services, storage systems, and
software.As an S&O leader, you will join a highly
entrepreneurial team, including alumni from top management
consulting firms and professionals in Enterprise IT. We focus on
Corporate Strategy, market intelligence, defining our annual plan
and operational processes, and ensuring the success of critical
cross-company initiatives. You will play a role in defining market
opportunity and driving multiple cross-functional programs,
managing the relationship with several top executives across the
company, and will gradually specialize in one of NetApp's business
units (current need is in partnering with Cloud Operations Business
unit). This position provides unparalleled senior executive
exposure and is often the avenue to unique Strategy & Operational
roles at NetApp.Job Requirements
- Infusing outside-in perspectives on NetApp's current and
adjacent markets to drive effective decision making for our
business
- Presenting recommendations and leading discussions with all
levels of management including C-level executives
- Providing thought leadership and ad-hoc strategic advice to
leaders across the company
- Operationalizing cross-functional programs including (but not
exclusively) business process simplification, annual strategic
planning, identifying attractive market adjacencies, diagnosing
channel effectiveness, etc.
- Providing project teams with guidance on scope, prioritization,
and approach to deliver business impact on strategic
priorities
- Synthesizing inputs, identifying critical insights, and
developing compelling recommendations for both S&O and
NetApp-wide audiences
- Coaching and developing a high caliber team of Managers and
Associates to achieve their own development goals and
potential
- Building the Strategy & Operations team's brand within
NetAppEducation
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or a
related field. MBA preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in strategy consulting,
corporate strategy, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing and its impact on
business strategy, with a track record of success in expanding
market share. -

hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably
and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified
geographic areas or locations, -is $213,300-$261,000. Final
compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the
position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate
qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work
experience, education, -skillset and other relevant business and
organizational factors, consistent with applicable law. -In
addition, the position may include some of the following
comprehensive benefits such Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K),
