UNFI is growing and is looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team in Greenwood, IN!Be proud of what you do, and who you work for, APPLY TODAY!Why work at UNFI of GreenwoodCompetitive pay dependent on experienceCompetitive Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K & Vacation +Opportunity for quarterly bonus and merit bonusGrowth and professional development opportunities.Recognition for great work, company events and picnics, and much more!PURPOSE:The OperationsManager is responsible for directing overall operations of the distribution center to ensure excellent customer service and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI s).DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Manages all the day-to day activities surrounding inbound, inventory control, AND/OR outbound warehouse operations.Monitors, researches and implements solutions regarding issues related to damaged product, mis-shipped product, and missing product.Assists in developing / adjusting of policies and procedures for warehouse operations.Manages equipment needs and suggests investments for capital improvements.Ensures that Warehouse materials are rotated and stored properly.Assumes responsibility for the maintenance of Warehouse facilities. Ensures that both the inside and outside of the facilities are clean and orderly.Works to develop and maintain productive business relations with internal and external customers.Provides leadership to direct reports while focusing on process improvements, and creating a high performance supervisory teamFosters positive employee relations, while ensuring Company vision and mission are active.JOB REQUIREMENTS(Education, Certification, and Relevant Experience):Safety sensitive positionMust have 3- 5 years warehouse management experience and/or logistics management experience in a complex, service driven organizationRequires 5 or more years of related experience, with at least two or more years of supervisory experienceMust be computer literate with a working knowledge of Windows, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.Must be able to communicate effectively, i.e. staff meetings, employee reviews, reporting, etc.Must be able to pass background checkExperience in shipping/receiving is preferredCollege Degree preferred but not required in lieu of experiencePHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:Moderate physical activity in non-climate controlled and climate controlled warehouse, primarily concrete floors. Warehouse temperatures can vary and average between -32-95 degrees.
