AccessAbilities, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time, Salaried, Certified Recreational Therapist (CTRS) to join the Recreational Therapy team! We are an Indiana Medicaid waiver provider agency. We serve adults and children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. As a Recreational Therapist for AccessAbilities, Inc., you will travel around the Bloomington, Indiana area to provide one-one-one therapeutic sessions in the community, at the office, or at the consumers home. Recreational Therapists are encouraged to take their clients to local community interests for sessions which include but are not limited to local gyms, parks, sporting events, concerts, malls, bowling, swimming pools and much more! You will also have the opportunity to build your own caseload and create your own schedule! The CTRS must have reliable transportation to get to and from consumers, as well as to drive consumers, when necessary. You will have full autonomy on therapeutic interventions and techniques used to work towards completing individual goals and objectives. Responsibilities listed below: Working independently managing your own caseload once it is built. Assess each clients needs using a standardized recreational therapy assessment and develop treatment plans. Track clients goals and objectives through progress notes to help prepare quarterly reports indicative of progress or regression. Effectively communicate with other professionals, assess, program plan, implement, document, and evaluate treatment. Planning and providing appropriate recreational therapy activities and interventions. Attend quarterly meetings with the interdisciplinary team to discuss Recreational Therapy services and progress/regression. Eligibility: Current certification to practice as a Recreational Therapist (CTRS). Hold a minimum bachelors degree from an accredited college or university. The degree must be in therapeutic recreation or recreational therapy, or related field. Experience or training in the field of intellectual/developmental disabilities. Ability to drive with a valid driver's license
