We are seeking a Donor Intake Nurse- RN or LPN to join our team in the Greenwood, IN area! You will be responsible for determining donor eligibility, assessment, physical examination, and recording/reviewing donor test results. The ideal candidate is dedicated and flexible. • Take and record donor pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and administer finger stick, and first aid as needed.
• Entering donor information into donor information system, as well as investigating post donation information.
• Managing, evaluating, and reporting donor reaction(s).
• Communicate with collaborating supervisors and specialist's regarding donor care.
• Maintaining accurate donor medical records.
• Provides support and education to donors around their medical needs. Qualifications:
• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields.
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate as a team player.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
