a Manager of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Rehab to join our
team. This position will serve our partners at Witham Health
Services in Lebanon, IN and Riverview Health in Noblesville, IN. As
the Manager of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Rehab, you will
focus on broadening the referral bases through strategic
relationship development with prospective providers and
collaboration with marketing. Your role will design and implement a
clinical development system for clinicians, intended to improve
patient outcomes in the ambulatory setting. You will also be
responsible for maximizing clinical staff potential within these
organizations. Relocation assistance eligibleEssential
Functions:
- Manages relationships with referring physicians, both from
within the healthcare systems and the outside community.
Collaborates with physician offices to solve problems and optimize
patient experiences and outcomes.
- Serves as clinical resource, clinical mentor, and clinical
educator to Tx:Team clinicians in the ambulatory setting.
- Oversees the application of clinical practice guidelines, Focus
on Therapeutic Outcomes (FOTO) data collection and reporting, and
standards of care.
- Foster an environment that embodies Tx:Team values and promotes
inclusion, diversity, and belonging for all associates
- Educates staff on EMR best practices, including navigation and
coordination of documentation, billing, and other procedures.
Coordinates new hire onboarding.
- Assists staff with plan of care development (provider
continuity, treatment activities and frequency, management of
high-risk diagnosis patients).
- Leads clinical competency content development, assessment and
training, including development of training tools.
- Identifies professional development/educational needs of the
team and individuals; works with Director of Rehabilitation to
develop and enact an education plan. Facilitates growth on a
continuum (novice to expert).
- Maintains communication with local university programs and
Human Resources surrounding availability of clinical education
experience and scheduling of students. Assigns clinical instructors
(CI) for each clinical placement, evaluating each CI's readiness
and preparedness to serve as a CI.
- Organizes and implements development activities for the
clinical instructors to enhance their skills as clinical
educators.
- Occasional treatment (either creating or executing plan of
care) of patients in the ambulatory setting.Qualifications:
- Licensed physical therapist who meets state required education
standards
- 5 years clinical practice experience; and 3 or more years of
clinical development experience
- Clinical expertise and an active connection to the therapy
industry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrable customer service excellence
- Highly organized, systematic, and able to function consistently

- Degree from an accredited school approved by CAPTE
- Current state licensure or eligibility in discipline
- Master's degree in Business Management or Healthcare
