is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR
tech) for a 13 week travel assignment in Lafayette, Indiana. As a

team. /n/nRequired Qualifications:/n/n /n/t - One year’s recent
experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist/n/t - Valid
ARRT, or RCIS/RCES Certification in compliance with state
regulations/n/t - Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)/n
/n/nPreferred Qualifications:/n/n /n/t - Current ACLS certification
(AHA/ARC)/n/t - Valid Radiologic Technologist license in compliance
within state regulations/n/t - PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC
certification/n/t - Other certifications or licenses may be
required for this position/n /n/nSummary:/n/n The Interventional
Radiology (IR) Technologist assists physicians in performing
minimally invasive procedures using advanced imaging technology.
This role involves preparing patients and equipment, operating
fluoroscopic and other imaging modalities, and ensuring the highest
standards of patient care and safety. The IR Technologist works
closely with the interventional radiologist and healthcare team to
support complex vascular and non-vascular procedures in a
fast-paced, high-acuity environment. /n/nEssential Work
Functions:/n/n /n/t - Prepare and position patients for
interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and
safety/n/t - Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT,
and ultrasound, to guide procedures/n/t - Assist physicians by
scrubbing in for sterile procedures, passing instruments, and
maintaining a sterile field/n/t - Monitor and document patient
vital signs and procedural details/n/t - Administer contrast media
and monitoring for adverse reactions/n/t - Ensure proper radiation
safety measures for patients, staff, and self/n/t - Maintain and
troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring readiness for
procedures/n/t - Manage and restock procedural supplies, including
catheters, guidewires, and contrast agents/n/t - Collaborate with
radiologists, nurses, and other team members to provide seamless
patient care/n/t - Follow all infection control, safety, and
regulatory protocols/n/t - Provide patient education before,
during, and after procedures/n/t - Perform other duties as assigned
to support IR lab operations/n/t - Adhere to hospital safety
protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards/n
/n/nRequired Essential Skills:/n/n /n/t - Critical thinking,
service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills/n/t
- The ability to read, write, & communicate in the English language
is required/n/t - Ability to read/comprehend written instructions,
follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills/n/t -
Physical Abilities - Remain in a stationary position, move about,
move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending/n/t -
Interpersonal Skills - To work effectively with a variety of
personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive
attitude and professionalism/n/t - Technical/Motor Skills - Ability
to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able to move about
when assisting with procedures and/or using department
equipment./n/t - Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with
frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting
deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close
supervision occasionally as well as working without assistance from
other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity
schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail/n/t -
