Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required. Level 1 trauma experience preferred. License: Must possess a valid state nursing license. Certifications: BCLS required. Must-Have: - Ability to work weekends as per contract. - Willingness to float to different levels of care as needed. - Must be fit-tested for an N95 mask or trained on PAPR usage. Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in medical surgical care. The role involves providing post-operative care for patients. The candidate should be comfortable working in a unit that specializes in post-operative care of colorectal surgery patients. The nurse will care for patients who may require negative-airflow rooms. Training and resources will be provided for floating to different levels of care. Coordination with charge nurse responsibilities may be necessary based on operational needs. Travelers are expected to work every other weekend per their contract. Refusal to float may result in termination of the contract. Orientation and modules must be completed before the start date.
