Pay Information $2,157 per week About The Position Job Title: RN CVICU Profession: RN Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Cardiac ICU trained RN competent in caring for both cardiac medical ICU patients and cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery ICU patients. Trained on Impella and NxStage. Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:2, including patients with Impellas and NxStage. Description: Provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients in a cardiovascular setting. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and vital signs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records. Adhere to all safety and quality protocols in clinical practice. Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills in the care environment.
