We are seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio starting Feb 23, 2026. This role features day shifts from 8am to 4pm, followed by nightly call and weekend call coverage. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality care in a dynamic surgical environment. Job Details Location: Ohio Start Date: Feb 23, 2026 LOA: 30 days Provider Type Needed: Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant Schedule: 8am-4pm, nightly call 4pm-8am, 24-hour weekend call; 2 weekends per month on call Responsibilities and Duties Suture removal Diagnose and treat illnesses Order and interpret tests Write prescriptions Coordinate patient care Provide rounding on patients Conduct pre-operative physical exams Additional Information Active Ohio license required Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required BLS and ACLS certifications required 100 percent clean background required; no exceptions Experience and training in relevant surgical duties required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
