Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Orthopedic Location: Terre Haute, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,236 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Med Surg Ortho Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Ability to work in a Med Surg setting with orthopedic and urological patients Description: This position is for a registered nurse in a medical surgical unit specializing in orthopedic care. The nursing staff will care for a variety of patients, including those with fractures and kidney stones. The unit handles urology surgeries, including TURP, TURBT, prostatectomies, and nephrectomies. Nurses will also care for patients undergoing spinal surgeries and post-operative care for craniotomies and burr holes. Total joint surgeries, including revisions and removals, will also be part of the patient population. The setting includes both post-operative outpatient GYN surgeries and trauma patients with fractures. Bipap patients and medical-surgical overflow cases are included in the patient mix. Nurses must be familiar with telemetry monitoring, which is available when ordered. IV administration of Heparin is a requirement, but cardiac drips will not be administered.
