be considered. A Registered Nurse position is available on a Bone
Marrow Transplant unit specializing in Oncology/Hematology. This
contract role offers an opportunity to provide care for hematology
and bone marrow transplant patients in a focused and supportive
environment. Candidates will work day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30
p.m., with weekend rotations every third weekend and holiday
coverage as needed, averaging 36 guaranteed hours weekly. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients
requiring blood and electrolyte replacement, neuro assessments,
long-term IV therapy, chemotherapy, and physical therapy. Perform
critical care interventions including ventilator management, drip
infusions, and central line dressing changes. Administer high-risk
and hazardous medications, including chemotherapy and
immunotherapy, safely in accordance with protocols. Collaborate
with interdisciplinary teams, communicate updates effectively, and
maintain patient dignity and comfort. Float to related units such
as stepdown, critical care, and acute care specialties when needed.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Registered Nurse licensure.
Experience in stepdown, critical care, blood administration,
electrolyte management, and neuro assessments. Preferred
oncology/hematology experience with chemotherapy and bone marrow
transplant patient care. Valid Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Oncology
Nursing Society (ONS) chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification
preferred. Strong teamwork orientation, proactive learning
attitude, and professionalism in patient and staff interactions.
Location:The role is based on the 4th floor of a hospital in
Indianapolis, IN, within a 17-bed Bone Marrow Transplant unit
utilizing advanced technology such as ventilators, Alaris pumps,
and EPIC electronic medical records. This setting provides a
collaborative atmosphere dedicated to patients with complex
hematologic needs. This contract opportunity is ideal for nurses

three shifts on the unit following completion of mandatory online
