Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Lafayette, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,099 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/17/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years in a related field License: Current nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS Must-Have: Telemetry and IV Start skills required Patient ratio experience in a medical-surgical setting Charting system experience preferred Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry specialty. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a telemetry or medical-surgical unit. Candidates must possess current ACLS and BCLS certifications. Telemetry and IV Start skills are essential for this role. This position involves a night shift schedule, working three 12-hour shifts per week. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 6:1 during the night shift. The unit primarily cares for adult and geriatric patients with various medical conditions. Common patient diagnoses include COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, chest pain, and post-surgical cases. Staff in this position will also provide interdisciplinary support, collaborating with various services such as physical therapy and respiratory services. Floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliates is required. Candidates must be willing to work every other weekend.
