Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Carmel, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,463 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/24/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Carmel, Indiana, 46032! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years required License: Must have current license in hand Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Amniocentesis - Amnioinfusion - Non-stress testing - CVS testing - Phlebotomy Description: This position involves high-risk obstetric care. Nurses will provide care and ultrasounds for patients with various medical complexities. These include neurological disorders, kidney disease, cystic fibrosis, cancer, and bleeding or clotting disorders. Additionally, candidates should be experienced in handling patients with autoimmune disorders, history of third-trimester fetal loss, and placental concerns. Nurses will also care for patients with maternal cardiac diseases, advanced maternal age, multi-gestational pregnancies, and diabetes. Experience in handling fetal concerns or anomalies and substance use disorders is also necessary. Candidates may be expected to work two out of three major holidays. Responsibilities include performing amniocentesis, assisting with high-risk deliveries, and participating in non-stress testing. The unit focuses on high-risk obstetric care, ensuring patient safety and emergency preparedness are prioritized. Nurses will engage in interdisciplinary support and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Floating within the facility or to an affiliate facility is required for all nursing staff. Candidates should possess skills in telemetry interpretation, administration of various medications, and neonatal resuscitation.
