Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Indianapolis, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,121 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Indianapolis, Indiana, 46202! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years experience required, Level 1 Trauma experience preferred License: Must have a valid nursing license in hand prior to start date Certifications: BCLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Flexibility with weekend requirements - Ability to work 50% of the weekends during the contract - Agreement to precept and/or allow students to shadow during the assignment Description: Registered nurses are needed for a medical surgical unit. The unit handles various traumas, including gunshot wounds, blunt trauma, and stab wounds. Patient care includes orthopedic injuries, ostomies, hernia repairs, and skin flaps. Staffing ratios are typically 1:5-6. Nurses may be required to float to different levels of care as needed. Charge nurse responsibilities may be assigned, with training and resources provided. Travelers must adhere to the eligibility requirements and be available for scheduled shifts. All candidates should be comfortable with the expected call-in policies and makeup shifts. The environment is fast-paced, requiring comprehensive patient management skills. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for optimal patient care. The unit experiences a diverse daily census, catering to adult and geriatric patients. Candidates should possess skills in blood product administration, wound care, and isolation precautions.
