hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg
Job Details: • Work on 5C, a 31-bed medical-surgical unit
specializing in general surgery, urology, gynecology, and bariatric
surgery • Maintain 1:6 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends
• Float to other medical-surgical units as required • Must have 3-4
skill level in bariatric surgery, thyroidectomy, bowel obstruction,
and continuous bladder irrigation (CBI) • Experience required with
voiding trials and/or urogyn surgeries • 2 years of nursing
experience required • BLS certification required • Flu vaccine
required (medical/religious exemptions only) • 24 hours of
orientation provided • Weekend coverage required • Must work 2 out
of 3 major holidays • Care for adult and geriatric patients
post-operatively • Work with various surgical drains, wound
care/wound vac, and peripheral nerve block catheters • Provide
post-surgical care for orthopedic, bariatric, urology-gynecology,
and colorectal patients • First-time travelers accepted Facility:
