Position Summary: The Manufacturing Coordinator supports
Manufacturing Operations Function by coordinating activities for
production and materials. Assists departments with administration
assignments, reporting to the Manufacturing Operations Manager. The
primary duties of this job require administrative, non-manual work,
related to business operations involving responsibility for
processes and policies of significance, evaluation of possible
solutions and results of the work for which the employee is
responsible and making recommendations and/or decisions accordingly
using professional judgment. Consistent exercise of independent
judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Essential Job
Duties and Responsibilities: Assists management with coordinating
activities for production and materials by gathering all data to
calculate accurate cost estimates from internal and external
sources. Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing
information and trends. Maintains the databases, reports and
records that are necessary to manufacturing operations activities,
by providing detailed cost estimates along with supporting
rationale. Provides general coordination support to the
manufacturing floor such as processing material requisitions,
sub-assembly paperwork closure and material relocation. Provides
excellent customer service through prompt responses to inquiries
and routine problem solving. Communicates effectively through
phone, e-mail, and correspondence, while maintaining a professional
manner. Minimum Qualifications: The following are the minimum
job-related qualifications which an individual needs to
successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of
the job. Education Level: Post-secondary degree or equivalent
combination of relevant education and work experience that will
allow successful performance of job expectation. Years of
Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing
operations relating to estimating and/or manufacturing production
assisting. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities List: Ability to
understand and follow specific instructions and procedures. Ability
to research and analyze data effectively. Ability to gather data,
to compile information, and prepare reports. Good/Strong/Excellence
verbal and written communication skills. Presentation skills.
Excellent customer service orientation. History of building and
maintaining customer/client relationships. Well-organized,
detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task. Ability to work
independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, to
meet deadlines. Strong prioritization skills. Ability to visualize
and plan objectives and goals strategically. Conflict management
skills. Decision making skills. Demonstrated ability to provide
cross-functional leadership. Knowledge of generally accepted
accounting practices, procedures and standards policy and procedure
development techniques. Strong computer skills, including
proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access,
Outlook, and web-browsers. Knowledge of computerized information
systems used in financial and/or accounting applications.
Intermediate level knowledge of PC software applications and strong
understanding of PC operating systems. Environmental & Physical
Requirements: Office / Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be
able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is
performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires
the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66% each day),
ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer
and may also require the ability to lift up to 35 pounds as needed.
Manufacturing / Non-Sedentary Requirements: Incumbent must be able
to perform the essential functions of the job. May have possible
exposure to dust and may require the ability to lift and/or push up
to 35 pounds 33% - 66% of the time. Walking, bending, stooping, or
climbing stairs while in the manufacturing environment proper PPE
