• Scheduling patient appointments via phone
• Assist with troubleshooting of patient calls and inquiries
• Assist with patient check-out
• Obtain accurate and updated patient information, such as name, address, insurance information
• Perform insurance verification on the date of service
• File and maintain medical records
• Confirms and schedule appointments
• Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously
• Collects co-pays or outstanding balances on the date of service
• Perform referral documentation promptly
• Perform all other related duties as assigned

    • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
    • 1+year of experience with working knowledge of general office procedures, such as medical office
    • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance.       Preferred Qualifications:
      • Experience working in medical front office position performing duties such as scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, insurance verification, collecting co-paysand maintaining medical records.
      • Knowledge ofEMR (Electronic Medical Records) software
      • Working knowledge of medical insurance: Medicaid, Medicare, Medicare Advantage Plans
