Do:Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Airflow Quality Inspector
is responsible for adhering to all policies and procedures related
to the various parts and equipment for which they will be trained
and certified to operate. Additionally, operators load and unload
parts to meet production demands, inspect parts using various
precision measuring tools, accept or reject parts, and communicate
any changes, both verbally and in writing.--Analyze and interpret
Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to
produce products that meet or exceed customer
specificationsVerifies conformance of finished workpiece to
customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and
airflow equipment as necessary, such as borescopes, rulers,
calipers, gauges, or micrometersInterpret geometric dimensions and
tolerances to complete inspection as requiredClean parts using
chemical degreaser and parts wash machinePrep parts using foil tape
and sealing waxPerform and Document Scheduled Airflow test,
including but not limited to Shut-off valve test, System leak test,
and Flow restrictions test, and record resultsAnalyze and interpret
test resultsLoad and unload parts for airflow, and or other testing
as requiredPerform and document scheduled airflow test log and
reportsDocuments actions by updating control charts, travelers, and
reporting labor in the ERP systemPerform under AS9100 quality
standards and NADCAP accreditationMaintain a safe and clean work
environment by performing daily housekeeping duties.Follow all
Hi-Tek policies and procedures, including the use of proper
PPEAccomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for
accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities

school diploma or GED requiredMust meet the ITAR definition of
--120.15 U.S. person2+ years of prior experience with visual,
airflow, and dimensional inspections of aerospace/gas turbine
components requiredExperience working in a Quality System certified
to ISO9001, AS9100, or Nadcap a plusExperience in an
industrial/manufacturing environment, aerospace industry
