Multi Craft Maintenance Technician at Kellanova summary: Night-shift Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician role at a Cincinnati manufacturing plant responsible for troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs on electrical and mechanical production equipment. Duties include root cause analysis, interpreting schematics, working on pneumatics, drives, hydraulics and conveyors, and promoting safety and process improvements. Requires high school diploma/GED, manufacturing operational knowledge, behavior-based safety awareness, and ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs. Join the team striving to be best at our plant in Cincinnati, OH as a Multi-craft Maintenance Technician. This is a night shift: 7pm - 7am, with a 3-day weekend every other weekend! The pay for this position is $33.85 per hour with room for growth . You will play a crucial role in identifying and preventing issues in the plant environment. The safety of our employees and our products is crucial. You’ll help us achieve our safety goals by proactively accessing your environment and attending to electrical issues or concerns. You’ll lead as you share your knowledge of safety rules and regulatory compliance with your colleagues, making the workplace safer and more productive. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing Maintaining Equipment and Amplifying Your Electrical Knowledge – Alternate between troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and on-the-spot machine repair. You will need a firm focus and understanding of industrial electrical knowledge and mechanical skills. This is a special opportunity to enhance your expertise, but you need to already be a creative problem-solver who clearly documents your learnings! Analyzing Conditions and Providing Solutions - Identify and examine production equipment failures to understand root cause analysis, with the help of interpreting schematics and drawings. We’ll rely on you to investigate and repair electrical and mechanical systems such as pneumatics, drives and hydraulics, and conveyors. Prioritizing Innovation and Communication - Actively seek ways to improve plant efficiency and cost savings, maintaining an open dialogue with your lead and supervisor regarding day-to-day activities.
