working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Lafayette,
Indiana, 47905! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

Must have state license in hand prior to start. Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Experience with Cardizem,
Amiodarone, Lasix, Insulin, Post Heart Catheterization, and Post
Pacemaker procedures. - Solid Neuro experience. Description: This
is a mixed acuity unit comprising both medical surgical and
progressive levels of care. The unit cares for medical patients
with some progressive care level needs. It includes areas of
oncology, stroke, cardiac, gastrointestinal, and pulmonary care. MS
patients have a staffing ratio of 1:5-6 and PCU patients have a
ratio of 1:3-4. The unit will administer Cardizem, Amiodarone, and
Insulin drips. It will also see unstable strokes and provide BiPap
support. Candidates will float within the hospital or to nearby
affiliates as needed. Staffing may include interdisciplinary
support from Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, and
Social Services among others. Daily patient census ranges from 29
to 31. Experience with telemetry and monitoring chemotherapy is
preferred. The environment is dynamic, necessitating adaptability
